When the Job System, Payroll and the Accounts Disagree

The trouble is between them: timesheets corrected after they have gone to payroll, payments and credits that need fixing in the accounts, supplier invoices that land without the right quantities, and job costs that don't match the books.

Yes, and for many businesses the built-in link is enough once it is set up properly. Problems usually come from hours corrected after export, payments split across several invoices, supplier invoice lines arriving without the right quantities, and cost centres that don't match. We fix the set-up first and only build where the built-in link stops.

We connect the job system, payroll platform and accounts so the hours behind each pay run are right and super is worked out with it. Since 1 July 2026 super must reach the fund within 7 business days of payday; check the details that apply to you with the ATO or your adviser.
