Pay, Bill and Super From the Same Timesheet

Labour hire and recruitment businesses run every pay cycle across several systems: a recruitment or workforce system, a payroll platform that applies the award, and Xero or MYOB for invoicing and the books. The same hours have to produce the worker's pay, the client's invoice and the super, and when they are keyed or corrected in more than one place they drift apart.

We connect those systems so one approved timesheet drives pay, billing and super, with a short list of exceptions for a person to check, and margin by client and placement you can see without a spreadsheet. With Payday Super in force since 1 July 2026, super now has to keep pace with every pay run.

Built and supported by Kenomont: founder-led, Gold Coast based, with 20+ years building and connecting business systems. We work with the recruitment and payroll systems you already use rather than selling you new ones.

Where the Pay Week Goes

If several of these sound familiar, there is time and money to win back.

  • Timesheets arrive by app, email and paper and are keyed into payroll
  • Award rates, penalties and allowances are checked by hand
  • Client invoices are built separately from the same hours and don't always agree with pay
  • Super is worked out after the pay run instead of with it
  • Margin by client, placement or worker is a spreadsheet exercise
  • Each system keeps its own list of workers and clients
  • Worker licences, tickets and checks are tracked in folders
  • Month-end means reconciling pay, billing and the accounts by hand

How We Help Labour Hire Businesses

Start with the system you already run; connect what it doesn't do.

Use what your payroll platform already does

Many labour hire payroll platforms handle award interpretation and some invoicing. We check what yours does and set it up properly before building anything.

One timesheet for pay and bill

Approved hours flowing to payroll and to the client invoice from the same record, with differences flagged before anything goes out. Learn more

Contractors and RCTIs

Contractor payments and recipient-created tax invoices produced from the same timesheets and posted to Xero or MYOB. Learn more

Margin by client and placement

Pay, on-costs and billing pulled together so margin by client, placement and worker is there each week, not at year end. Learn more

Records in one place

Worker details, tickets and checks kept in a system that the rest of the process can rely on, rather than in folders and inboxes. Learn more

How We Work

One process at a time, alongside your existing systems.

1

Follow a timesheet from shift to payment

We map how hours become pay, an invoice and super today, including the workarounds.

2

Pick the biggest time sink

Usually timesheets to payroll and invoicing, or the weekly reconciliation of pay, bill and super.

3

Connect and automate

We build around your recruitment system, payroll platform and Xero or MYOB, with alerts when something doesn't match.

4

Check it against the old way

Your team compares results until everyone trusts it.

5

Add reporting

Once the data flows, margin by client and placement comes almost for free.

Labour Hire & Recruitment FAQs

No. We connect the systems you already use so the same hours drive pay, invoicing and super. If a system genuinely can't do what you need, we'll say so.

Yes. That is usually the biggest win: approved hours go to payroll and to the client invoice from the same record, with differences flagged for a person.

Since 1 July 2026, super must reach the fund within 7 business days of payday, so it has to be worked out and paid with each pay run. We help connect the systems so that happens reliably; check the rules that apply to you with the ATO or your adviser.

We help keep the records licensing relies on in a system rather than in folders. The licensing rules themselves differ by state, so check them with the regulator or your adviser.
